Doors Open Toronto provides with a precious opportunity for all of us to poke our curious eyes into buildings that are either off limits because of their function or because we don’t otherwise feel like intruding. Every year thousands of visitors visit a wide offering of architectural wonders and curiosities; some with a heritage designation and others with a modern edge. This year I chose to visit a few different participants distant from the core of the city.
Always, meaning to stop and wonder around this particular mosque, I no longer had an excuse not to.
